Leverless Tyre Changer

The SICE S200 Super-automatic tyre changer may look daunting at first site but under the skin is a machine we are all familiar with. Assembled with all the best parts from the Sice range, centre lock turntable, leverless head, pneumatic bead press, 2 speed motor, independent double action bead rollers, wheel lift and the renowned lift and twist vertical rear column.

Top of the features list is the leverless mounting head, removing the need for any levers during the tyre changing operation. The S200 also incorporates a unique manual centre lock turntable, simply locate the wheel centrally over the turntable head and drop the location pin through the centre of the wheel, with a simple rotation the wheel is locked.

Instead of the traditional method of inserting a tyre lever to bring the bead up on to the mounting head, the head itself incorporates a deployable “finger”. Once in position and at the press of a button, the finger deploys and slides between the bead and the tyres rim.

The finger is then lifted, taking the tyre bead with it and manoeuvres it onto the mounting head. The turntable is then rotated to remove the top bead before carrying out the same procedure on the bottom bead.

Assist Arm

Used to allow the user to have a hands-off approach for the bead to drop centre fitments allowing the user to view the bead fitment rather than interact manually with the tyre.

Wheel Lift

The wheel lift is a standard feature of the S200 tyre changer and makes light work of wheel lifting with its 90KG capacity.
